                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 600
                   BLOCK OF WEST VIEW ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF WEST VIEW ROAD AT CREST DRIVE, FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO RT-1 RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 600 block of West
                View Road, being on the northeast line of West View
                Road at Crest Drive.  Lots 5-12, block A, Pleasant
                Hills Addition, as shown by plat of record in plat
                book 10, page 3, R.O.H.C., being the properties
                described in deed book 2695, page 179, R.O.H.C.,
                deed book 2692, page 521, R.O.H.C., and deed book
                3006, page 864, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 108E-C-4-7.
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to RT-1 Residential Townhouse Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   That this property be limited to 15 townhouses only.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
